Cosphaderm® SF-75H is a powdered, fractionated and hydrogenated, de-oiled sunflower lecithin with a phosphatidylcholine content exceeding 70 %. Hydrogenation of the fatty acid double bonds significantly improves oxidative stability and enhances emulsifying and dispersion performance in aqueous systems compared with standard fractionated lecithins.
Owing to the compact molecular structure of hydrogenated lecithin, Cosphaderm® SF-75H is particularly well suited for the formation of micelles and liposomes with stable interfaces. In addition, it performs as a highly effective emulsifier and co-emulsifier for both O/W and W/O emulsions, including cold process formulations, without affecting their colour or odour.
