Cosphaderm® SB-75H NON GMO is a COSMOS-compliant, powdered soybean lecithin that has been fractionated, hydrogenated and de-oiled, featuring a phosphatidylcholine content of more than 70 %. Through hydrogenation of fatty acid double bonds, this ingredient achieves enhanced oxidative stability as well as markedly improved emulsifying and dispersion behaviour in aqueous media compared to standard fractionated lecithins.
Thanks to the uniform structure of hydrogenated lecithin, Cosphaderm® SB-75H NON GMO is ideally suited for the formation of micelles and liposomes with high interfacial stability. It also serves as a highly efficient emulsifier and co-emulsifier for O/W and W/O emulsions, even in cold process formulations, without negatively affecting colour or odour.
