Cosphaderm® KG

Cosphaderm® KG is a natural, non-GMO, food-approved glucomannan derived from konjac flour (Amorphophallus konjac). The water-soluble, high-molecular-weight glucomannan polysaccharide consists of D-mannose and D-glucose units. Shorter side chains and acetyl groups are randomly distributed along the glucomannan backbone.
Cosphaderm® KG displays strong thickening efficiency and gel formation properties especially useful for viscous formulations like styling or shaving gels. At concentrations of 1 % in water, viscosity yields from 20,000 cP to more than 40,000 cP with a high plasticity can be achieved.
