Cosphaderm® GeMix is a multifunctional blend of glyceryl caprylate and glyceryl undecylenate. Produced from natural sources, it is a biodegradable blend with emollient, emulsifying, moisturising, skin and hair conditioning as well as refatting properties. Cosphaderm® GeMix combines both ingredients' antimicrobial properties in one raw material. Glyceryl caprylate provides a strong antimicrobial efficiency against bacteria and yeasts whereas glyceryl undecylenate shows great efficiency against gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and moulds. The combination of both ingredients leads to full-spectrum antimicrobial protection in a pH range from 3.5 to 7.5.
