Cosphaderm® Dicapo natural is a cost-efficient, multifunctional blend based on natural and COSMOS-approved caprylyl glycol, combined with glyceryl caprylate and propanediol. Caprylyl glycol is an emollient with humectant as well as skin- and hair-conditioning benefits. Glyceryl caprylate functions as an emollient and co-emulsifier, offering moisturising, wetting, and refatting properties. Propanediol maintains the other two components in solution for ease of application and contributes humectant and emollient properties to the blend. All three components also exhibit mild yet effective antimicrobial activity. Overall, the blend delivers moisturising and emollient benefits while providing comprehensive antimicrobial protection across a broad pH range in a wide variety of formulations.
