Cosphatec takes care of skin tolerance and of nature at the same time. We use bio-degradable raw materials that are derived from sustainable and natural sources. These are all tested according to the highest German quality standards to guarantee the best possible effect on the skin.

All of our raw materials are vegan and do not contain any GMO.
The core products are approved by COSMOS and we source our palm oil strictly following RSPO standards.
All Cosphatec raw materials reliably cover the essential needs of cosmetic formulators: microbial stability, antioxidative stability as well as stability for emulsions and viscosity.

Preservative Blends

Paraben-Free Mixtures

With our expertise, we have developed mild and highly efficient preservative blends that combine selected preservatives with Cosphaderm^® Multifunctionals. Choose our Cosphagard^® line if you want to reduce the amount of listed preservatives – in both: mass market products and any kind of formulation.

Cosphagard^® Elbe

Cosphagard® Elbe is a cost-efficient mixture of sodium benzoate and the naturally derived multifunctional sodium levulinate. The blend can be used to replace controversially discussed Preservatives like parabens, MIT, triclosan, formaldehyde separators etc. without losing strong antimicrobial effectiveness against bacteria, yeasts and moulds. A further advantage is that this blend is COSMOS-approved and also complies with further international certification labels. It can be used for any cosmetic formulation type except purely oil-based formulations. For full efficiency the pH value of the final product should ideally be 5.5.
